Since 2019, the CitRes-Education (CitRes-Edu) has fostered a strong network of researchers and PhD candidates from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) through a series of student exchange programs. The main activities of this project involve the exchange of master’s and doctoral students among four parties, with the following specifications:
- 20 master’s students from UGM travel to NTNU for one semester to take coursework in the Master of Globalization and Sustainable Development program at NTNU.
- 18 master’s students from NTNU travel to UGM for one semester to participate in internships, fieldwork, or coursework in the Master’s Program in Politics and Government at UGM.
- 3 doctoral students or researchers from UGM travel to NTNU for one semester to participate in a PhD mobility program.
- 1 doctoral student from NTNU travels to UGM for one semester to participate in a PhD mobility program.
Following the legacy of CitRes-Edu, Engaging with Just Sustainable Transition (EnJuST) provides similar student and researcher mobility program between NTNU and UGM. This project hopes to create spaces for students to engage with green transitions through research and dialogues with governments, industries, communities and fellow students. Key activities in this projects involves:
- 20 master’s students from UGM travel to NTNU for one semester to take coursework in the Master of Globalization and Sustainable Development program at NTNU.
- 20 master’s students from NTNU travel to UGM for one semester to participate in internships, fieldwork, or coursework in the Master’s Program in Politics and Government at UGM.
- 1 doctoral students or researchers from UGM travel to NTNU for three months to participate in a PhD mobility program.
- 1 doctoral students from NTNU travel to UGM for three months to participate in a PhD mobility program
